For some reason I always find it much harder to make something for myself compared to creating for clients. So when my husband insisted I create something to hang on our wall, I felt really challenged. First, I tried to convince him that we should buy art prints from designers I love... and after he said we could only do that if we also chose something from me, I surrendered and created this piece. We are always our greatest critics aren't we?! I am trying to be kinder and more loving towards myself, starting with telling myself that my art is also worthy of hanging on our walls. Last week I purchased some new procreate brushes (I love getting new brushes :) and they are SO good it's one of those moments you wonder if you should just keep them as a secret to yourself. But after using them for a week I decided they are too good not to share. They are the Rusty Nib brushes from @truegrittexturesupply !
